The MicroClima is a high performance plant growth chamber for real-time experiments
in research centra.The Microclima realizes optimum climatic conditions by adjusting
the day- and night cycle very accurately, i.e. moisture, temperature and illumination.
This allows the researcher to extend their research over all stages of plant development:
from molecular genetics through to studies in plant physiology; from seed germination
to mature growth and flowering (mutations and generations).
The Snijders MicroClima plant growth chamber has a wide temperature and humidity range to allow an accurate representation of global climatic conditions. Day cycles with a sunrise and sunset cycle as well as all other functions required for state-of-the-art plant growth research can be programmed in real-time.
The MicroClima plant growth chamber is suitable for cultivating Arabidopsis Thaliana as well as cultivating higher-growing plants. Two models with usable volumes of 1000 and 1750 litres and the platforms, which can be divided in two widthwise, provide maximum flexibility for research with plants in various stages of growth.
The lighting options range from 400 µmol m-2 s-1 to max. 1.200 µmol m-2 s-1. The lamps are behind thermal glass on a lamp base. The entire heat is released through fans into the atmosphere.

The Economic Premium ICH without lighting: this cabinet is especially fit for sporulation of fungi/mushroom cultures and research. The temperature and humidity can be controlled.
This chamber with a capacity of 432 Litres is designed for general applications
in the plant growth technology, for genetic manipulations as well as for the cultivation
of protoplasm, sporulation of fungi, alga growth, Arabidopsis tests and cell divisions.
The fluorescent tubes are mounted vertically behind double thermal glass, switched in 2 levels and can be programmed using a timer. Both sides of the chamber have 7 fluorescent tubes.
The wide temperature range from -5 to +50°C allows all standard tests in the field of plant cultivation and insect breeding. Unregulated air humidity can be generated by filling the test chamber floor with water. An optional ultrasonic humidifier can be used to control the humidity.

This light climate chamber is very flexible thanks to its modular design and is characterised by its wide range of application options. It is equally suitable for cultivating Arabidopsis Thaliana as well as breeding insects, conducting research on tissue cultures or seed germination.
Depending on the requirements, you can choose between a light level with 12 fluorescent tubes up to 5 light levels with 2 fluorescent tubes each.
As an alternative to conventional fluorescent tubes, LED modules can also be used. The luminous intensity is between 140 and 770 µmol m-2 s-1 measured at a distance 15 cm, depending on the number of levels. The fluorescent lamps and/or LED modules (research modules) are can be dimmed from approx. 0 to 100%. The height-adjustable light levels and stainless steel removable shelves allow experiments with plants at different stages of growth.
